Professor and PhD Supervisor at Southern Medical University, Director of Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Tissue Engineering and Detection. He serves as an Executive Director of the Vascular Division of the Chinese Anatomical Society, a member of the Nanobiotechnology Division of the China Medical Biotechnology Association, an Executive Director of the Guangdong Biophysical Society, a Deputy Director of the Biomaterials Professional Committee of the Guangdong Biomedical Engineering Society, a Deputy Director of the Nephrology Division of the Guangdong Precision Medicine Society, and an Editorial Board Member of the "Chinese Journal of Clinical Anatomy". He has been selected as a leading talent in the "Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talent Project" in Guangdong Province. He has presided over 12 projects including the National Natural Science Foundation of China. In the past five years, he has published over 40 papers as the corresponding author in international mainstream journals such as Nature Biomedical Engineering, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Advanced Functional Materials, ACS Nano, Biomaterials, Bioactive Materials, Small, Theranostics, Applied Materials Today, and ACS AMI. His research field mainly focuses on myocardial regeneration and repair based on tissue engineering.
