Holding a Ph.D. degree and serving as a doctoral supervisor, he is a recipient of the Special Government Allowance from the State Council, an outstanding expert in Hainan Province, a top talent in Hainan, the director of Hainan Provincial Cerebrovascular Disease Clinical Research Center, the head of the "Double Hundred Talent Team" in Hainan Province, the chairman of the Neurointerventional Committee of Hainan Medical Association, a member of the Cerebrovascular Disease Group of the Chinese Medical Association, and the vice chairman of the Neurosurgery Branch of Hainan Medical Association.
He graduated from Shanghai Medical University with a bachelor's degree in 1989, obtained his master's degree in neurosurgery from Huashan Hospital of Fudan University in 2001, and his Ph.D. in neurosurgery from the same hospital in 2006. He has participated in various high-level professional training programs in the United States, Germany, France, Switzerland, Japan, and South Korea. He spent 20 years studying and working in the Neurosurgery Department of Huashan Hospital and its branches of Fudan University. He was promoted to Chief Physician in December 2007 and was recognized as a leading talent in Minhang District, Shanghai, in 2009. In September 2009, he was introduced to Haikou People's Hospital as a leading expert in the field. In April 2010, he was appointed as the director of the Neurosurgery Department. In October 2013, he obtained the qualification as a doctoral supervisor from Central South University and has since trained 9 doctoral students and 12 master's students. He serves as the executive editorial board member of "Modern Medicine," an editorial board member of "Chinese Journal of Clinical Science," "Chinese Journal of Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery," and a special editorial board member of "Chinese Journal of Experimental Surgery."
He has been recognized with numerous honors, including being named an outstanding individual in Haikou's "Three Goods and One Satisfaction" program in 2011, the "Most Beloved Health Guardian" in Hainan Province in 2012, an outstanding Communist Party member in the Haikou health system in 2013, a member of the second tier of Hainan's "515 Talent Project" in 2013, the "Hainan Doctor Award" in 2013, an outstanding expert in Hainan Province in 2014, and the title of "Haikou Good Person" in 2016. In 2017, he was elected as the chairman of the Neurointerventional Committee of the Hainan Medical Association. In 2018, he received the "China Doctor Award" and was named one of the "Top Ten News Figures in Haikou." He was recognized as an outstanding academic leader in Haikou in 2019 and as a Special Government Allowance expert by the State Council in 2020.
Since being introduced to Haikou People's Hospital in September 2009, the department's business volume has tripled. In 2018, the department obtained the Hainan Provincial Cerebrovascular Disease Clinical Research Center, and in 2020, it was honored as the "Double Hundred Talent Team" in Hainan Province. In 2020, the "Haikou Labor Model and Craftsman Talent Innovation Studio" was established. The department has carried out a series of advanced technical projects and surgeries, both domestically and internationally, achieving good social and economic benefits. It has successfully treated various difficult and critical cases, especially several provincial and ministerial leaders and their families in recent years, earning a high reputation for the medical community in Hainan. Some of the advanced techniques and surgeries performed include transnasal pituitary adenoma resection, embolization treatment for giant cerebral aneurysms, stent-assisted interventional treatment for wide-necked aneurysms, embolization treatment for cerebrovascular malformations, embolization treatment for arteriovenous fistulas, the establishment of a green channel for hyperselective intra-arterial thrombolysis for acute cerebral infarction, carotid endarterectomy, intracranial-extracranial vascular bypass surgery for ischemic encephalopathy, intracranial-extracranial vascular stenosis stenting, and intracranial complex aneurysm bypass surgery.
His research on "Cone Beam Protection Methods in Hypertensive Cerebral Hemorrhage Surgery" won the third prize for Shanghai Medical Science and Technology in 2009, "Clinical Research on Individualized Endovascular Treatment of Intracranial Wide-necked Aneurysms" won the third prize for medical achievements from Central South University in 2010, and "Enlarged Transsphenoidal Approach for Large Pituitary Adenoma Resection" also won the third prize for medical achievements from Central
