Dr. Kutryk’s research focuses on endothelial progenitor cell biology, miRNA signaling in health and disease and, gene and cell based gene therapies for vascular diseases. Recently, his research has focused on tissue engineered vascular grafts and cardiac valves and epigenetic regulation of genes related to Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia, a disease of disregulated angiogenesis.
