Dr. Davis pioneered techniques for culturing heart-derived cells as therapeutics for heart failure. These techniques have been validated by more than 75 independent labs worldwide and have been administered to over 1,000 patients. His recent work focuses on using acellular microparticles to prevent cardiac arrhythmias.
